Job description:

Can you juggle and tell a story at the same time? Can you talk on the phone and play catch with a Frisbee simultaneously? If you are able to do several tasks with a great attention to detail then we should talk. We are looking for Social Media/Marketing/Community Builder/Ops person that also has skills to manage the details/schedule of a project, set up logistics and talk with customers. Experience

  • Business and marketing experience within a company, not or but both.
  • Possess excellent verbal, written communication and proofreading skills
  • Detail oriented, meaning can edit and follow through with project plans
  • Support team with reports and make data driven decisions
  • Responsible for growing the reach of the Package Guard across all appropriate social channels
  • Using WordPress, Buffer, Hootsuite, Mailchimp or eClincher
  • Using startup marketing channels, meaning you know some tricks
  • Talking with the Media and Press, have you done outreach before?
  • Working with analytics tools and web traffic reporting, how well do you know GA?
  • Doing outreach for speaking engagement or product promotion opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Confident, self-motivated individual with strong, demonstrable bias for action
  • 3+ years of advertising, marketing or PR
  • 2+ years of project management
  • 2+ years of social media placement and ad buying
  • Ability to execute projects to strict deadlines
  • Familiar with A/B testing
  • Familiar with landing pages optimization or sales funnels

This role will start at 25-30 hours a week and could quickly become full time based on your skills. Hourly rate will be based on experience and how good of a human being you are. ($20-$30/hr + equity potential)
