Social Media/Marketing Job description:

Can you juggle and tell a story at the same time? Can you talk on the phone and play catch with a frisbee simultaneously? We are looking for Social Media/Marketing person to join our team who can manage social media, assist with partner/customer support and editing/creation of content. Business knowledge

  • Business or marketing experience within a company
  • Possess excellent verbal, written communication and proofreading skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Support team with reports and make data driven decisions

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growing the reach of the Package Guard across all appropriate social channels
  • Experience with tools like WordPress, Buffer, Hootsuite, Mailchimp or eClincher
  • Helping Marketing director create and execute marketing and content calendar
  • Compose messages with brand relevancy and ensure consistency of messages across multiple networks
  • Superior knowledge of startup marketing channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of website and/or online advertising experience
  • Familiar with A/B testing
  • Landing page/entry form optimization
  • Ad optimization

  • The right candidate will have operations experience, preferable at a consumer product or tech company
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, self-motivated individual with strong, demonstrable bias for action
  • Should be a “taskmaster” with deep understanding of how support a project plan.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools and web traffic reporting

Operational Responsibilities

  • Support day to day operations of the business
  • Customer support
  • Outreach for speaking engagement or product promotion opportunities
  • Streamline communication with vendors

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of operations at a tech or consumer products company
  • Familiar with A/B testing
  • Ability to conceptualize, scope, and execute projects to strict deadlines
  • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
